Owner Sara began dancing at the age of 8 and studied Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, and Hip-Hop. She began teaching at the age of 16 throughout various studios in the Northern VA/MD/DC area. She has a degree in Public Relations from GMU with a minor in dance in which she studied Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Ballet. She also spent 3 years as a USAG certified recreational and competitive gymnastics coach. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts Preschool Acrodance instructor.She has won several choreography awards and her competitive students have won awards for their emotions/storytelling, flexibility, as well as scholarships and invitations to dance with the Rockettes, among others.
Ms. Jordan
Instructor Jordan Kesler is from Bristow, Virginia and began her dance training at Gainesville Ballet School at the age of 9. She was given the opportunity to dance as Young Aurora in the Mariinsky Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty, at the Kennedy Center at age 11. She began her training at Manassas Ballet Academy where she danced many corps roles with company including Swan Lake, Giselle, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty as well as Clara in the 2014 & 2015 productions of MBT’s The Nutcracker. Jordan has trained summers at The Harid Conservatory, Ellison Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Joffrey Ballet School on scholarship. She has also participated and placed in YAGP with coaches Sara Ordway and Joshua Burnham. Jordan just recently graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Susan Jaffe, Jared Redick, Laura Martin, Jennet Zerbe, and Eva Draw. While at UNCSA, Jordan has had the opportunity to perform in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Ethan Stiefal’s The Nutcracker, Fredric Ashton’s Symphonic Variations, as well as the premiere of Susan Jaffe’s Carmina Terra.
Ms. Lacey
Instructor/Recital Director Ms. Lacey began dancing at the age of nine and studied Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop. She taught Gymnastics for three years working with all levels, beginner through team, She has an Associate's Degree in nursing and worked in the field of Pediatrics. In her spare time Ms. Lacey is a full-time mom, teaches Sunday school, and is an Usborne book consultant. She loves working with children and strives to be a positive role model to all children she works with.
Patrice began teaching locally 26 years ago. She has been an instructor,
competition dance director and choreographer, and currently is a Color
Guard Instructor at Liberty High School. Patrice began dancing in Harrisburg, PA
where she studied classical ballet, tap, jazz, baton, mime, voice, and gymnastics.
She was crowned Ms. Majorette of PA and won hundreds of twirling awards
throughout the US. Patrice studied Dance at the University of Mississippi. In
2001 Patrice opened Blair's School of Dance in Manassas which she owned and
operated for 14 years.
Ms. Emma
Instructor Ms. Emma has been dancing since the age of seven and is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical,Gymnastics, Modern, Acro, Contortion, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary. She has competed at numerous competitions along the East Coast winning scholarships and awards for her performances. She is currently a member of the James Madison University Dance Team.
Ms. Tiffany Instructor Ms. Tiffany started dancing in 2nd grade at her studio in New York before moving to Virginia. She trained in the areas of Ballet,Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary. In 2002 she was selected to tour with the Hoctor's Dance Caravan, where she danced and trained with some huge names including Barry Youngblood (the original white Power Ranger, Sonya Livingston of the Rockettes, 'Tap Dog' Anthony Loczio, Ballet master Jerry Rose and more! She has been teaching dance since she was in High School.
Ms. Grace
Instructor Ms. Grace began her ballet training at Northern Virginia Dance Academy at the age of four. While in college at NVCC, she created their first performing dance company, 'NOVA Dance Company'. She completed her B.A. in History and Minor in Dance from GMU. She received InsideNova's Best of Prince William 'Best Dance Instructor/Choreographer' award in 2020 and 2021.She danced with the Asaph dance ensemble from 2011-2020. She was Artistic Director of Northern Virginia Dance Academy from June 2020 until their closure in December 2021. Ms. Grace looks forward to sharing her love of dance with her students!
Mr. Xavier
Instructor Mr. Xavier is a DMV native who specializes in choreographing hip hop competition teams. He has been on tour with Jason Cerda, Jodeci Milhouse, and most recently with the 2019 B2K Millenium Tour.
